Unlike the previous reviewer, mine went right on with minimal fiddling. Modern bikes have the canti studs 80mm +/- apart. If you have an older bike (pre-1985 or so), they are probably about 60mm apart. A good hardware store may have angle brackets that would work.
Was looking forward to mounting my Wald basket to this and taking off the flimsy struts and bar clamps that come on the Wald. Wow.. what a pice of hot garbage. The whole design of this rack is around mounting it to canti brake posts, yet the mounting brackets dont even fit. I could understand if it just needed a quick file to fit but its nowhere even close. Not enough adjustment width wise either, was a full 2cm wider than my posts were. I know you get what you pay for but just a complete waste of time.
